For, behold, the Lord will come out of his place, to visit the iniquity of the inhabitant of the earth against him: and the earth shall disclose her blood and shall cover her slain no more.

For thus saith the Lord to me: I will take my rest, and consider in my place, as the noon light is clear, and as a cloud of dew in the day of harvest.

And I will visit the evils of the world, and against the wicked for their iniquity: and I will make the pride of infidels to cease, and will bring down the arrogancy of the mighty.

These things have I suffered without the iniquity of my hand, when I offered pure prayers to God.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

That the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation,

Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without, make also that which is within?

And he said to me: Son of man, dost thou see, thinkest thou, what these are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should depart far off from my sanctuary? And turn thee yet again and thou shalt see greater abominations.

And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

The heavens shall reveal his iniquity: and the earth shall rise up against him.

What will you do in the day of visitation, and of the calamity which cometh from afar? To whom will ye flee for help? And where will ye leave your glory?

And the voice of the Lord of hosts was revealed in my ears: Surely this iniquity shall not be forgiven you till you die, saith the Lord God of hosts.

And it shall be at an instant suddenly. A visitation shall come from the Lord of hosts in thunder, and with earthquake, and with a great noise of whirlwind and tempest, and with the flame of devouring fire.

Behold, it is written before me. I will not be silent: but I will render and repay into their bosom

Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, who have sacrificed upon the mountains and have reproached me upon the hills; and I will measure back their first work in their bosom.

A voice of the people from the city, a voice from the temple, the voice of the Lord that rendereth recompense to his enemies.
