And the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Sion and in Jerusalem, and shall be glorified in the sight of his ancients.

Thou shalt no more have the sun for thy light by day, neither shall the brightness of the moon enlighten thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee for an everlasting light, and thy God for thy glory.

And the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it. For the glory of God hath enlightened it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.

For the stars of heaven and their brightness shall not display their light: the sun shall be darkened in his rising, and the moon shall not shine with her light.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Sion, shout for joy, O daughter of Jerusalem: BEHOLD THY KING will come to thee, the just and saviour: he is poor, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars have withdrawn their shining.

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood: before the great and dreadful day of the Lord doth come.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings and that preacheth peace, of him that sheweth forth good, that preacheth salvation, that saith to Sion: Thy God shall reign!

A psalm for David himself. Sing ye to the Lord anew canticle: because he hath done wonderful things. His right hand hath wrought for him salvation, and his arm is holy.

And she began the song to them, saying: Let us sing to the Lord, for he is gloriously magnified: the horse and his rider he hath thrown into the sea.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be moved:

His eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall see the land far off.

ARISE, be enlightened, O Jerusalem: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

And saviours shall come up into mount Sion to judge the mount of Esau: and the kingdom shall be for the Lord.
