Thy uncleanness is execrable: because I desired to cleanse thee, and thou art not cleansed from thy filthiness. Neither shalt thou be cleansed, before I cause my indignation to rest in thee.

These things are in my ears, saith the Lord of hosts: unless many great and fair houses shall become desolate, without an inhabitant.

Therefore have I sworn to the house of Heli, that the iniquity of his house shall not be expiated with victims nor offerings for ever.

For the Lord God doth nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.

Therefore shall this iniquity be to you as a breach that falleth and is found wanting in a high wall. For the destruction thereof shall come on a sudden, when it is not looked for.

But he that is the wise one hath brought evil, and hath not removed his words: and he will rise up against the house of the wicked, and against the aid of them that work iniquity.

Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, who have sacrificed upon the mountains and have reproached me upon the hills; and I will measure back their first work in their bosom.

There shall no more be an infant of days there, nor an old man that shall not fill up his days: for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.

Therefore Michol the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.

The Lord hath sworn against the pride of Jacob: surely I will never forget all their works.
