But yet my words, and my ordinances, which I gave in charge to my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers, and they returned, and said: As the Lord of hosts thought to do to us according to our ways, and according to our devices, so he hath done to us.

But if you will not, and will provoke me to wrath: the sword shall devour you because the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

But he that is the wise one hath brought evil, and hath not removed his words: and he will rise up against the house of the wicked, and against the aid of them that work iniquity.

Search ye diligently in the book of the Lord, and read: not one of them was wanting, one hath not sought for the other. For that which proceedeth out of my mouth, he hath commanded: and his spirit it hath gathered them.

I have sworn by myself: the word of justice shall go out of my mouth and shall not return:
