Thus saith the Lord: As if a grain be found in a cluster, and it be said: Destroy it not, because it is a blessing. So will I do for the sake of my servants, that I may not destroy the whole.
For it hath pleased them; and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they ought also in carnal things to minister to them.
And it shall come to pass, that as you were a curse among the Gentiles, O house of Juda, and house of Israel: so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing: fear not, let your hands be strengthened.
For thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will bring upon her as it were a river of peace, and as an overflowing torrent the glory of the Gentiles, which you shall suck; you shall be carried at the breasts, end upon the knees they shall caress you.
They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat. For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of my people: and the works of their hands shall be of long continuance.
Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will lift up my hand to the Gentiles, and will set up my standard to the people. And they shall bring thy sons in their arms and carry thy daughters upon their shoulders.
And he said: It is a small thing that thou shouldst be my servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to convert the dregs of Israel. Behold, I have given thee to be the light of the Gentiles, that thou mayst be my salvation even to the farthest part of the earth.
And there shall be still a tithing therein: and she shall turn, and shall be made a show as a turpentine-tree, and as an oak that spreadeth its branches. That which shall stand therein, shall be a holy seed.
Praise his people, ye nations; for he will revenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to their enemies: and he will be merciful to the land of his people.
In that day, there shall be a way from Egypt to the Assyrians: and the Assyrian shall enter into Egypt, and the Egyptian to the Assyrians. And the Egyptians shall serve the Assyrian.
And it shall come to pass that in that day a noise shall be made with a great trumpet: and they that were lost shall come from the land of the Assyrians, and they that were outcasts in the land of Egypt. And they shall adore the Lord in the holy mount in Jerusalem.
