In that day Egypt shall be like unto women: and they shall be amazed and afraid, because of the moving of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which he shall move over it.

Behold thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy land shall be set wide open to thy enemies, the fire shall devour thy bars.

The valiant men of Babylon have forborne to fight, they have dwelt in holds: their strength hath failed and they are become as women: her dwelling-places are burnt, her bars are broken.

A sword upon their horses and upon their chariots and upon all the people that are in the midst of her, and they shall become as women. A sword upon her treasures, and they shall be made a spoil.

Why shall I fear in the evil day? the iniquity of my heel shall encompass me.

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we use persuasion to men; but to God we are manifest. And I trust also that in your consciences we are manifest.

Upon the dark mountain lift ye up a banner. Exalt the voice, lift up the hand, and let the rulers go into the gates.

And there shall be a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as neither hath been before, nor shall be hereafter.

And thy valiant men of the south shall be afraid, that man may be cut off from the mount of Esau.

Let all flesh be silent at the presence of the Lord: for he is risen up out of his holy habitation.

And he shall pass over the strait of the sea, and shall strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the river shall be confounded, and the pride of Assyria shall be humbled, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart.
