Hosea 9:4

They shall not offer wine to the Lord, neither shall they please him: their sacrifices shall be like the bread of mourners: all that shall eat it shall be defiled: for their bread is life for their soul, it shall not enter into the house of the Lord.

And you shall do as I have done: you shall not cover your faces nor shall you eat the meat of mourners.

He that sacrificeth an ox is as if he slew a man: he that killeth a sheep in sacrifice, as if he should brain a dog: he that offereth an oblation, as if he should offer swine's blood; he that remembereth incense, as if he should bless an idol. All these things have they chosen in their ways: and their soul is delighted in their abominations.

In the parts of the torrent is thy portion. This is thy lot. And thou hast poured out libations to them, thou hast offered sacrifice. Shall I not be angry at these things?

Command the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: Offer ye my oblation and my bread, and burnt-sacrifice of most sweet odour, in their due seasons.

Whosoever of the seed of Aaron the priest hath a blemish; he shall not approach to offer sacrifices to the Lord, nor bread to his God.

Say to Aaron: Whosoever of thy seed throughout their families hath a blemish, he shall not offer bread to his God.

And offer the loaves of proposition. Let them therefore be holy because I also am holy, the Lord, who sanctify them.

They shall be holy to their God, and shall not profane his name. For they offer the burnt-offering of the Lord, and the bread of their God: and therefore they shall be holy.

Because the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you, that you may make atonement with it upon the altar for your souls, and the blood may be for an expiation of the soul.

Placing the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.

He that toucheth the corpse of a man, and is therefore unclean seven days:

They shall wrap up also the table of proposition in a cloth of violet, and shall put with it the censers and little mortars, the cups and bowls to pour out the libations: the loaves shall be always on it.

With one lamb a tenth part of flour tempered with beaten oil, of the fourth part of a hin: and wine for libation of the same measure.

And they shall not break bread among them to him that mourneth, to comfort him for the dead: neither shall they give them to drink of the cup, to comfort them for their father and mother.

Sacrifice and libation is cut off from the house of the Lord: the priests, the Lord's ministers, have mourned:

They returned, that they might be without yoke: they became like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword, for the rage of their tongue. This is their derision in the land of Egypt.
