Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink, or in respect of a festival day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbaths,

Making void the law of commandments contained in decrees; that he might make the two in himself into one new man, making peace;

Who is made not according to the law of a carnal commandment, but according to the power of an indissoluble life:

And I said: Ah, ah, ah, O Lord God, behold, my soul hath not been defiled, and from my infancy even till now, I have not eaten any thing that died of itself or was torn by beasts, and no unclean flesh hath entered into my mouth.

And shall not return, before he be washed with water in the evening: and after sunset he shall return into the camp.

He shall wash his flesh in the holy place, and shall put on his own garments. And after that he has come out and hath offered his own holocaust, and that of the people, he shall pray both for himself, and for the people.

Let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with clean water.

The former indeed had also justifications of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

Have moreover tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

For God hath not subjected unto angels the world to come, whereof we speak.

And the ancients of that city shall come to the person slain, and shall wash their hands over the heifer that was killed in the valley,

He shall be vested with a linen tunick: he shall cover his nakedness with linen breeches: he shall be girded with a linen girdle, and he shall put a linen mitre upon his head. For these are holy vestments: all which he shall put on, after he is washed.

They shall abstain from wine, and from every thing that may make a man drunk. They shall not drink vinegar of wine, or of any other drink: nor any thing that is pressed out of the grape. Nor shall they eat grapes either fresh or dried.

For the priesthood being translated, it is necessary that a translation also be made of the law.

If it cease, he shall wash with water the parts that are pure, the second time: and they shall be clean.
