If then any be in Christ a new creature, the old things are passed away, behold all things are made new.

And therefore he is the mediator of the new testament: that by means of his death, for the redemption of those trangressions, which were under the former testament, they that are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Charity never falleth away: whether prophecies shall be made void, or tongues shall cease, or knowledge shall be destroyed.

Lift up your eyes to heaven, and look down to the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish like smoke, and the earth shall be worn away like a garment, and the inhabitants thereof shall perish in like manner. But my salvation shall be for ever: and my justice shall not fail.

Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.

In like manner the chalice also, after he had supped, saying: This is the chalice, the new testament in my blood, which shall be shed for you.

Who also hath made us fit ministers of the new testament, not in the letter, but in the spirit. For the letter killeth, but the spirit quickeneth.

They shall perish, but thou shalt continue: and they shall all grow old as a garment.

By so much is Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

But now he hath obtained a better ministry, by how much also he is a mediator of a better testament, which is established on better promises.

For finding fault with them, he saith: Behold, the days shall come, saith the Lord: and I will perfect unto the house of Israel, and unto the house of Juda, a new testament:

And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel.
