For we have not a high priest, who can not have compassion on our infirmities: but one tempted in all things like as we are, without sin.

For in that, wherein he himself hath suffered and been tempted, he is able to succour them also that are tempted.

For the law maketh men priests, who have infirmity: but the word of the oath, which was since the law, the Son who is perfected for evermore.

And make straight steps with your feet: that no one, halting, may go out of the way; but rather be healed.

And you know, how through infirmity of the flesh, I preached the gospel to you heretofore: and your temptation in my flesh,

For such an one I will glory; but for myself I will glory nothing, but in my infirmities.

Who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and contumelious. But I obtained the mercy of God, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things that concern my infirmity.

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren.

Take away from me the way turn away the path from me. Let the Holy One of Israel cease from before us.

They have quickly strayed from the way which thou didst shew them: and they have made to themselves a molten calf, and have adored it, and sacrificing victims to it, have said: These are thy gods, O Israel, that have brought thee out of the land of Egypt.

Committing fornication with strange gods, and adoring them. They quickly forsook the way, in which their fathers had walked: and hearing the commandments of the Lord, they did all things contrary.

And they that erred in spirit shall know understanding: and they that murmured shall learn the law.

Having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their hearts.

Wherefore it behoved him in all things to be made like unto his brethren, that he might become a merciful and faithful priest before God, that he might be a propitiation for the sins of the people.

But into the second, the high priest alone, once a year: not without blood, which he offereth for his own, and the people's ignorance:

My brethren, if any of you err from the truth, and one convert him:

For you were as sheep going astray; but you are now converted to the shepherd and bishop of your souls.
