Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.

I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures.

And after the second veil, the tabernacle, which is called the holy of holies:

The Holy Ghost signifying this, that the way into the holies was not yet made manifest, whilst the former tabernacle was yet standing.

Which we have as an anchor of the soul, sure and firm, and which entereth in even within the veil;

Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

By this is the spirit of God known. Every spirit which confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is of God:

Because Christ also died once for our sins, the just for the unjust: that he might offer us to God, being put to death indeed in the flesh, but enlivened in the spirit,

And evidently great is the mystery of godliness, which was manifested in the flesh, was justified in the spirit, appeared unto angels, hath been preached unto the Gentiles, is believed in the world, is taken up in glory.

And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

And the veil of the temple was rent in two, from the top to the bottom.

And behold the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top even to the bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were rent.

And he commanded him, saying: Speak to Aaron thy brother, that he enter not at all into the sanctuary, which is within the veil before the propitiatory, with which the ark is covered, lest he die, (for I will appear in a cloud over the oracle)

For many seducers are gone out into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh: this is a seducer and an antichrist.

Making void the law of commandments contained in decrees; that he might make the two in himself into one new man, making peace;

Yet so that he enter not within the veil, nor approach to the altar: because he hath a blemish, and he must not defile my sanctuary. I am the Lord who sanctify them.

And when he hath killed the buck-goat for the sin of the people, he shall carry in the blood thereof within the veil, as he was commanded to do with the blood of the calf, that he may sprinkle it over against the oracle,
