Nun. Let us search our ways, and seek and return to the Lord.

Try your own selves if you be in the faith; prove ye yourselves. Know you not your own selves, that Christ Jesus is in you, unless perhaps you be reprobates?

Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Set Your hearts upon your ways:

And returning to himself, he said: How many hired servants in my father's house abound with bread, and I here perish with hunger?

But let every one prove his own work, and so he shall have glory in himself only, and not in another.

But he that regarded not the word of the Lord left his servants and his cattle in the fields.

And this man said to me: Son of man, see with thy eyes, and hear with thy ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall shew thee: for thou art brought hither that they may be shewn to thee: declare all that thou seest, to the house of Israel.

Because he considereth and turneth away himself from all his iniquities which he hath wrought, he shall surely live and not die.

And man when he was in honour did not understand; he is compared to senseless beasts, and is become like to them.

And he turned himself away and went into his house: neither did he set his heart to it this time also.

Is it time for you to dwell in ceiled houses, and this house lie desolate?

You have sowed much, and brought in little: you have eaten, but have not had enough: you have drunk, but have not been filled with drink: you have clothed yourselves, but have not been warmed: and he that hath earned wages, put them into a bag with holes.
