Now therefore go in and write for them upon box, and note it diligently in a book: and it shall be in the latter days for a testimony for ever.

And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord. From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.

Moses therefore wrote the canticle: and taught it to the children of Israel.

AND the Lord said to me: Take thee a great book, and write in it with a man's pen. Take away the spoils with speed: quickly take the prey.

And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law plainly and clearly.

Now therefore write you this canticle, and teach the children of Israel: that they may know it by heart, and sing it by mouth, and this song may be unto me for a testimony among the children of Israel.

And he said to me: Write: Blessed are they that are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith to me: These words of God are true.

Having therefore such hope, we use much confidence:

But in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may instruct others also; than ten thousand words in a tongue.

For what things soever were written, were written for our learning: that through patience and the comfort of the scriptures, we might have hope.

Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, saying: Write thee all the words that I have spoken to thee in a book.
