Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of his way. And all the people shall say: Amen.

From all appearance of evil refrain yourselves.

By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; as unknown, and yet known;

Cursed is the deceitful man that hath in his flock a male, and making a vow offereth in sacrifice that which is feeble to the Lord: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the Gentiles.

With him is strength and wisdom: he knoweth both the deceiver and him that is deceived.

But he said again: Rightly is his name called Jacob; for he hath supplanted me, lo, this second time. My first birthright he took away before, and now this second time he hath stolen away my blessing. And again he said to his father: Hast thou not reserved me also a blessing?

And when they were grown up, Esau became a skillful hunter, and a husbandman: but Jacob a plain man dwelt in tents.

Cursed be he that doth the work of the Lord deceitfully: and cursed be he that withholdeth his sword from blood.

He said: Cursed be Chaanan; a servant of servant shall he be unto his brethren.

And his indignation cease, and he forget the things thou hast done to him. Afterwards I will send, and bring thee from thence hither. Why shall I be deprived of both my sons in one day?
