And let all the rest in all places, wheresoever they dwell, help him every man from his place, with silver and gold, and goods, and cattle, besides that which they offer freely to the temple of God which is in Jerusalem.

Now over and above the things which I have offered into the house of my God I give, of my own proper goods, gold and silver for the temple of my God, beside what things I have prepared for the holy house.

Bear ye one another's burdens; and so you shall fulfil the law of Christ.

Now after many years, I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings, and vows.

I know, my God, that thou provest hearts, and lovest simplicity. Wherefore I also in the simplicity of my heart have joyfully offered all these things: and I have seen with great joy thy people, which are here present, offer thee their offerings.

And the people rejoiced, when they promised their offerings willingly: because they offered them to the Lord with all their heart. And David the king rejoiced also with a great joy.

All both men and women with devout mind offered gifts, that the works might be done which the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses. All the children of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.

Who is there among you of all his people? His God be with him. Let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judea, and build the house of the Lord the God of Israel. He is the God that is in Jerusalem.

Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Juda and Benjamin, and the priests, and Levites, and every one whose spirit God had raised up, to go up to build the temple of the Lord which was in Jerusalem.

But Core the son of Jemna the Levite, the porter of the east gate, was overseer of the things which were freely offered to the Lord, and of the first-fruits and the things dedicated for the Holy of Holies.

O Lord God of Israel, thou art just: for we remain yet to be saved as at this day. Behold, we are before thee in our sin: for there can be no standing before thee in this matter.

The remnant shall be converted, the remnant, I say, of Jacob, to the mighty God.
