And thou, O son of man, fear not, neither be thou afraid of their words: for thou art among unbelievers and destroyers, and thou dwellest with scorpions. Fear not their words, neither be thou dismayed at their looks: for they are a provoking house.

I, I myself, will comfort you. Who art thou, that thou shouldst be afraid of a mortal man and of the son of man who shall wither away like grass?

For wickedness is kindled as a fire. It shall devour the brier and the thorn, and shall kindle in the thicket of the forest: and it shall be wrapped up in smoke ascending on high.

Now seeing the constancy of Peter and of John, understanding that they were illiterate and ignorant men, they wondered; and they knew them that they had been with Jesus.

And I say to you, my friends: Be not afraid of them who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

Hearken to me, you that know what is just, my people who have my law in your heart: fear ye not the reproach of men and be not afraid of their blasphemies.

All of these princes go out of the way, they walk deceitfully, they are brass and iron, they are all corrupted.

And they had tails like to scorpions, and there were stings in their tails; and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had over them

And thou shalt speak by a figure, a parable, to the provoking house, and say to them: Thus saith the Lord God: Set on a pot, set it on, I say, and put water into it.

Or if he shall ask an egg, will he reach him a scorpion?
