And thou shalt say: Thus saith the Lord God to Jerusalem: Thy root and thy nativity is of the land of Chanaan. Thy father was an Amorrhite and thy mother a Cethite.

Thou art thy mother's daughter, that cast off her husband and her children: and thou art the sister of thy sisters, who cast off their husbands and their children. Your mother was a Cethite, and your father an Amorrhite.

But shalt kill them with the edge of the sword: to wit, the Hethite, and the Amorrhite, and the Chanaanite, the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee:

But in the fourth generation they shall return hither: for as yet the iniquities of the Amorrhites are not at the full, until this present time.

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil. Whosoever is not just, is not of God, nor he that loveth not his brother.

And after these things were accomplished the princes came to me, saying: The people of Israel, and the priests and Levites have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, and from their abominations: namely, of the Chanaanites, and the Hethites, and the Pherezites, and the Jebusites, and the Ammonites, and the Moabites, and the Egyptians, and the Amorrhites.

When the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land, which thou art going in to possess, and shall have destroyed many nations before thee: the Hethite, and the Gergezite, and the Amorrhite, and the Chanaanite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite: seven nations much more numerous than thou art, and stronger than thou:

And Abram and Nachor married wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai: and the name of Nachor's wife, Melcha, the daughter of Aran, father of Melcha, and father of Jescha.

In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:

But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

And seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them: Ye brood of vipers, who hath shewed you to flee from the wrath to come?

Because Manasses king of Juda hath done these most wicked abominations, beyond all that the Amorrhites did before him, and hath made Juda also to sin with his filthy doings:

Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him with a perfect and most sincere heart. And put away the gods which your fathers served in Mesopotamia and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.

And Nachor lived after he begot Thare, a hundred and nineteen years; and begot sons and daughters.

And on the south side are the Hevites, all the land of Chanaan, and Maara of the Sidonians as far as Apheca, and the borders of the Amorrhite,

Thy first father sinned: and thy teachers have transgressed against me.

Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations.

And when thou wast born, in the day of thy nativity thy navel wast not cut, neither wast thou washed with water for thy health, nor salted with salt, nor swaddled with clouts.
