As the Lord commanded Moses. And Aaron put it in the tabernacle to be kept.

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

Having a golden censer, and the ark of the testament covered about on every part with gold, in which was a golden pot that had manna, and the rod of Aaron, that had blossomed, and the tables of the testament.

Let us go therefore with confidence to the throne of grace: that we may obtain mercy, and find grace in seasonable aid.

And shalt put the ark in it, and shalt let down the veil before it.

And the Lord, when he had ended these words in mount Sinai, gave to Moses two stone tables of testimony, written with the finger of God.

And thou shalt set the propitiatory upon the ark of the testimony in the holy of holies.

And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, to fulfil the commandment of the Lord.

And he gathered all Israel together into Jerusalem, that the ark of God might be brought into its place, which he had prepared for it.

And there was nothing else in the ark but the two tables which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord gave the law to the children of Israel, at their coming out of Egypt.
