And the Lord said to him as he was returning into Egypt: See that thou do all the wonders before Pharao, which I have put in thy hand. I shall harden his heart, and he will not let the people go.

Therefore he hath mercy on whom he will; and whom he will, he hardeneth.

Why hast thou made us to err, O Lord, from thy ways. Why hast thou hardened our heart, that we should not fear thee? Return for the sake of thy servants, the tribes of thy inheritance.

For it was the sentence of the Lord, that their hearts should be hardened, and they should fight against Israel, and fall, and should not deserve any clemency, and should be destroyed as the Lord had commanded Moses.

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart, that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

And he said: I will go forth, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said: Thou shalt deceive him, and shalt prevail. Go forth, and do so.

From Aroer, which is upon the bank of the torrent Arnon, a town that is situate in a valley, as far as Galaad. There was not a village or city, that escaped our hands: the Lord our God delivered all unto us:

And God said: My spirit shall not remain in man for ever, because he is flesh; and his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

And Pharao's heart was hardened, so that neither this time would he let the people go.

And the Lord said to Moses: Go in to Pharao. For I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants: that I may work these my signs in him.

And the Lord hardened Pharao's heart: and he would not let them go.

And he went out from Pharao exceeding angry. But the Lord said to Moses: Pharao will not hear you, that many signs may be done in the land of Egypt.

And Moses and Aaron did all the wonders that are written, before Pharao. And the Lord hardened Pharao's heart: neither did he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go, but by a mighty hand.

And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy house, and from thy servants, and from thy people: and shall remain only in the river.

And Pharao seeing that rest was given hardened his own heart, and did not hear them as the Lord had commanded.

And I will harden the heart of the Egyptians to pursue you: and I will be glorified in Pharao, and in all his host, and in his chariots, and in his horsemen.
