And he that sacrificed said to him: Let the fat first be burnt to-day according to the custom, and then take as much as thy soul desireth. But he answered and said to him: Not so; but thou shalt give it me now, or else I will take it by force.

Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money: neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy victims. But thou hast made me to serve with thy sins: thou hast wearied me with thy iniquities.

The sword of the Lord is filled with blood. It is made thick with the blood of lambs and buck-goats, with the blood of rams full of marrow: for there is a victim of the Lord in Bosra and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

To what purpose do you offer me the multitude of your victims, saith the Lord? I am full, I desire not holocausts of rams, and fat of fatlings, and blood of calves, and lambs, and buck goats.

But the firstling of a cow and of a sheep and of a goat thou shalt not cause to be redeemed, because they are sanctified to the Lord. Their blood only thou shalt pour upon the altar: and their fat thou shalt burn for a most sweet odour to the Lord.

And the priest shall pour the blood upon the altar of the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and shall burn the fat for a sweet odour to the Lord.

And the fat that is offered for sins he shall burn upon the altar.

The fat also of the bullock, and the rump of the ram, and the two little kidneys with their fat, and the caul of the liver,

And the fat, and the little kidneys, and the caul of the liver, which are for sin, he burnt upon the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

But the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that covereth the entrails, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and with the right shoulder, he separated.

But the fat that was upon the entrails, and the caul of the liver, and the two little kidneys, with their fat, he burnt upon the altar.

Who shall burn the fat upon the altar. But the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.

They shall offer thereof the rump and the fat that covereth the entrails:

And the fire on the altar shall always burn, and the priest shall feed it, putting wood on it every day in the morning, and laying on the holocaust, shall burn thereupon the fat of the peace-offerings.

All the fat also he shall take off, as the fat of the ram that is offered for peace-offerings is wont to be taken away: and shall burn it upon the altar, for a burnt sacrifice of the Lord. And he shall pray for him and for his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

But taking off all the fat, as is wont to be taken away of the victims of peace-offerings, he shall burn it upon the altar, for a sweet savour to the Lord: and he shall pray for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

But the fat he shall burn upon it, as is wont to be done with the victims of peace-offerings. And the priest shall pray for him, and for his sin: and it shall be forgiven him.

The priest shall offer it at the altar: and twisting back the neck, and breaking the place of the wound, he shall make the blood run down upon the brim of the altar.

The entrails and feet being washed with water. And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for a holocaust, and a sweet savour to the Lord.

And thou shalt take all from their hands, and shalt burn them upon the altar for a holocaust: a most sweet savour in the sight of the Lord, because it is his oblation.

Thou shalt take the fat of the ram, and the rump, and the fat that covereth the lungs, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder: because it is the ram of consecration.

And thou shalt offer the whole ram for a burnt offering upon the altar: it is an oblation to the Lord: a most sweet savour of the victim of the Lord.

You shall not eat thereof any thing raw, nor boiled in water, but only roasted at the fire. You shall eat the head with the feet and entrails thereof.

The two little kidneys, and the fat which is by the flanks, and the caul of the liver with the little kidneys.
