One pillar was eighteen cubits high, and the chapiter of brass which was upon it was three cubits high. And the network, and the pomegranates that were upon the chapiter of the pillar, were all of brass: and the second pillar had the like adorning.
And a kind of network, and chain-work wreathed together with wonderful art. Both the chapiters of the pillars were cast: seven rows of nets were on one chapiter, and seven nets on the other chapiter.
With the work of an engraver and the graving of a jeweller, thou shalt engrave them with the names of the children of Israel, set in gold and compassed about.
And thou shalt make the rational of judgment with embroidered work of divers colours, according to the workmanship of the ephod: of gold, violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen.
