And the ruler of the synagogue (being angry that Jesus had healed on the sabbath) answering, said to the multitude: Six days there are wherein you ought to work. In them therefore come, and be healed; and not on the sabbath day.

Six days shalt thou work: the seventh day thou shalt cease to plough, and to reap.

Six days thou shalt work: the seventh day thou shalt cease; that thy ox and thy ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid and the stranger may be refreshed.

Six days shall ye do work: the seventh day, because it is the rest of the sabbath, shall be called holy. You shall do no work on that day: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your habitations.

Six days you shall do work: the seventh day shall be holy unto you, the sabbath, and the rest of the Lord. He that shall do any work on it shall be put to death.

Gather it six days. But on the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord: therefore it shall not be found.

Six days shall you do work: in the seventh day is the sabbath, the rest holy to the Lord. Every one that shall do any work on this day shall die.

You shall kindle no fire in any of your habitations on the sabbath day.

Thus saith the Lord God: The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east, shall be shut the six days, on which work is done; but on the sabbath day it shall be opened, yea and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
