For therefore also you pay tribute. For they are the ministers of God, serving unto this purpose.

He that exhorteth, in exhorting; he that giveth, with simplicity; he that ruleth, with carefulness; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Saying: The scribes and the Pharisees have sitten on the chair of Moses.

Let them arise, and let the nations come up into the valley of Josaphat: for there I will sit to judge all nations round about.

And a throne shall be prepared in mercy, and one shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking judgment, and quickly rendering that which is just.

When I went out to the gate of the city: and in the street they prepared me a chair?

Speak, you that ride upon fair asses, and you that sit in judgment, and walk in the way.

So Jethro the kinsman of Moses offered holocausts and sacrifices to God: and Aaron and all the ancients of Israel came, to eat bread with them before God.

And when his kinsman had seen all things that he did among the people, he said: What is it that thou dost among the people? Why sittest thou alone, and all the people wait from morning till night?
