And I shall harden his heart, and he will pursue you; and I shall be glorified in Pharao, and in all his army: and the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord. And they did so.

For the scripture saith to Pharao: To this purpose have I raised thee, that I may shew my power in thee, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, who have stretched forth my hand upon Egyp; and have brought forth the children of Israel out of the midst of them.

But I shall harden his heart, and shall multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.

And therefore have I raised thee, that I may shew my power in thee: and my name may be spoken of throughout all the earth.

Thus therefore saith the Lord: In this thou shalt know that I am the Lord. Behold, I will strike with the rods: that is in my hand, the water of the river, and it shall be turned into blood.

As it is written: God hath given them the spirit of insensibility; eyes that they should not see; and ears that they should not hear, until this present day.

And all the people of the land shall bury him, and it shall be unto them a noted day, wherein I was glorified, saith the Lord God.

And shalt say: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, Sidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall execute judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

But I did otherwise for my name's sake, that it might not be violated before the nations, in the midst of whom they were, and among whom I made myself known to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt.

And thou shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharao, and upon all his servants, and upon the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. And thou madest thyself a name, as it is at this day.

Now I know that the Lord is great above all gods: because they dealt proudly against them.

And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharao king of Egypt, and he pursued the children of Israel: but they were gone forth in a mighty hand.

Therefore he hath mercy on whom he will; and whom he will, he hardeneth.

And the Lord hardened Pharao's heart: and he would not let them go.

And Pharao will say of the children of Israel: They are straitened in the land; the desert hath shut them in.

And it was told the king of the Egyptians that the people was fled. And the heart of Pharao and of his servants was changed with regard to the people, and they said: What meant we to do, that we let Israel go from serving us?

And the Egyptians pursuing went in after them: and all Pharao's horses, his chariots and horsemen through the midst of the sea,

And overthrew the wheels of the chariots, and they were carried into the deep. And the Egyptians said: Let us flee from Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against us.

And Moses said to Aaron: This is what the Lord hath spoken. I will be sanctified in them that approach to me: and I will be glorified in the sight of all the people. And when Aaron heard this, he held his peace.

When I shall have made the land of Egypt desolate: and the land shall be destitute of her fulness, when I shall have struck all the inhabitants thereof: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

And I will take you to myself for my people. I will be your God: and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the work prison of the Egyptians.

And thou mayest tell in the ears of thy sons, and of thy grandsons, how often I have plagued the Egyptians, and wrought my signs amongst them: and you may know that I am the Lord.

And the children of Israel going forth did as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron.

For it was the sentence of the Lord, that their hearts should be hardened, and they should fight against Israel, and fall, and should not deserve any clemency, and should be destroyed as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And I will bring unto thee in the place of the torrent Cison Sisara the general of Jabin's army, and his chariots, and all his multitude, and will deliver them into thy hand.

And thou shalt come upon my people of Israel like a cloud, to cover the earth. Thou shalt be in the latter days, and I will bring thee upon my land: that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

And I will be magnified, and I will be sanctified: and I will be known in the eyes of many nations: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
