And when Moses had stretched forth his hand towards the sea, it returned at the first break of day to the former place: and as the Egyptians were fleeing away, the waters came upon them, and the Lord shut them up in the middle of the waves.

And when they, that carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, were come up, and began to tread on the dry ground, the waters returned into the channel, and ran as they were wont before.

By faith they passed through the Red Sea, as by dry land: which the Egyptians attempting, were swallowed up.

And to all the host of the Egyptians, and to their horses and chariots. How the waters of the Red Sea covered them, when they pursued you: and how the Lord destroyed them until this present day.
