And Moses said to the people: Fear not. Stand and see the great wonders of the Lord, which he will do this day: for the Egyptians, whom you see now, you shall see no more for ever.

It shall not be you that shall fight: but only stand with confidence, and you shall see the help of the Lord over you, O Juda, and Jerusalem: fear ye not, nor be you dismayed: to-morrow you shall go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.

And he said: Attend ye, all Juda, and you that dwell in Jerusalem, and thou king Josaphat: Thus saith the Lord to you: Fear ye not, and be not dismayed at this multitude. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

And the Lord delivered Israel on that day out of the hands of the Egyptians.

But he answered: Fear not; for there are more with us than with them.

Say to the fainthearted: Take courage, and fear not. Behold, your God will bring the revenge of recompense. God himself will come and will save you.

Teth. It is good to wait with silence for the salvation of God.

But I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt: and thou shalt know no God but me, and there is no saviour beside me.

Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people: for salvation with thy Christ. Thou struckest the head of the house of the wicked: thou hast laid bare his foundation even to the neck.

I am, I am, the Lord: and there is no saviour besides me.

Hear, O Israel. You join battle this day against your enemies: let not your heart be dismayed, be not afraid, do not give back, fear ye them not:

Be not rebellious against the Lord. And fear ye not the people of this land, for we are able to eat them up as bread. All aid is gone from them. The Lord is with us: fear ye not.

I will look for thy salvation, O Lord.

In very deed the hills were liars, and the multitude of the mountains: truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.

And thou sawest the affliction of our fathers in Egypt: and thou didst hear their cry by the Red Sea.

Now when these things were done, the word of the Lord came to Abram by a vision, saying: Fear not, Abram, I am thy protector, and thy reward exceeding great.

For thou hast struck all them who are my adversaries without cause: thou hast broken the teeth of sinners.

The old error is passed away, thou wilt keep peace: peace, because we have hoped in thee.

And the angel answering, said to the women: Fear not you; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: If you return and be quiet, you shall be saved. In silence and in hope shall your strength be. And you would not:

But these men stood in the midst of the field, and defended it. And they slew the Philistines, and the Lord gave a great deliverance to his people.

Wast thou angry, O Lord, with the rivers? or was thy wrath upon the rivers? or thy indignation in the sea? Who will ride upon thy horses: and thy chariots are salvation.

Destruction is thy own, O Israel: thy help is only in me.

God said to him: I am the most mighty God of thy father. Fear not, go down into Egypt, for I will make a great nation of thee there.

And Moses said to the people: Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that the dread of him might be in you, and you should not sin.

And Saul said: No man shall be killed this day, because the Lord this day hath wrought salvation in Israel.

Now then stand, and see this great thing which the Lord will do in your sight.

And thou shalt say to him: See thou be quiet: fear not, and let not thy heart be afraid of the two tails of these firebrands, smoking with the wrath of the fury of Rasin king of Syria, and of the son of Romelia.

Where the Lord appeared to him that same night, saying: I am the God of Abraham thy father. Do not fear, for I am with thee: I will bless thee, and multiply thy seed, for my servant Abraham's sake.

In thy sight are all they that afflict me; my heart hath expected reproach and misery. And I looked for one that would grieve together with me, but there was none: and for one that would comfort me, and I found none.

When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:

And I will have mercy on the house of Juda, and I will save them by the Lord their God: and Iwill not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.
