But the chief priests and ancients persuaded the people, that they should ask Barabbas, and make Jesus away.

And the first day of them shall be venerable and holy: you shall not do any servile work therein.

But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you.

This same being delivered up, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you by the hands of wicked men have crucified and slain.

All we like sheep have gone astray, every one hath turned aside into his own way: and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

And this day shall be for a memorial to you: and you shall keep it a feast to the Lord in your generations with an everlasting observance.

And you shall observe the feast of the unleavened bread: for in this same day I will bring forth your army out of the land of Egypt; and you shall keep this day in your generations by a perpetual observance.

All the assembly of the children of Israel shall keep it.

And they set forward from Elim, and all the multitude of the children of Israel came into the desert of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai: the fifteenth day of the second month, after they came out of the land of Egypt.

In the third month of the departure of Israel out of the land of Egypt, on this day, they came into the wilderness of Sinai:

And Josias kept a phase to the Lord in Jerusalem. And it was sacrificed on the fourteenth day of the first month.

And the children of Israel of the captivity kept the phase, on the fourteenth day of the first month.

One lamb in the morning and another in the evening.

And the other lamb thou shalt offer in the evening, according to the rite of the morning oblation, and according to what we have said: for a savour of sweetness.

And the children of Israel abode in Galgal, and they kept the phase on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the plains of Jericho.
