And they came up over the whole land of Egypt: and rested in all the coasts of the Egyptians innumerable, the like as had not been before that time, nor shall be hereafter.

If a famine arise in the land, or a pestilence, or corrupt air, or blasting, or locust, or mildew; if their enemy afflict them besieging the gates, whatsoever plague, whatsoever infirmity:

The blast shall consume all the trees and the fruits of thy ground.

And there shall be a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as neither hath been before, nor shall be hereafter.

Thou shalt cast much seed into the ground, and gather little: because the locusts shall consume all.

He hath laid my vineyard waste, and hath pulled off the bark of my fig tree: he hath stripped it bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.

Behold, I will cause it to rain tomorrow at this same hour, an exceeding great hail: such as hath not been in Egypt from the day that it was founded, until this present time.

The locust hath no king, yet they all go out by their bands.
