But now put you also all away: anger, indignation, malice, blasphemy, filthy speech out of your mouth.

Let no evil speech proceed from your mouth; but that which is good, to the edification of faith, that it may administer grace to the hearers.

In all things give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you all.

The tongue of the wise adorneth knowledge: but the mouth of fools bubbleth out folly.

The beginning of his words is folly, and the end of his talk is a mischievous error.

For, speaking proud words of vanity, they allure by the desires of fleshly riotousness, those who for a little while escape, such as converse in error:

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise always to God, that is to say, the fruit of lips confessing to his name.

Be nothing solicitous; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God.

But these men blaspheme whatever things they know not: and what things soever they naturally know, like dumb beasts, in these they are corrupted.

Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
