That we may be unto the praise of his glory, we who before hoped Christ:
Unto the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he hath graced us in his beloved son.
Whereunto also he hath called you by our gospel, unto the purchasing of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To him be glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus unto all generations, world without end. Amen.
In those days shall Juda be saved and Israel shall dwell confidently: and this is the name that they shall call him: The Lord, Our Just One.
I have sworn by myself: the word of justice shall go out of my mouth and shall not return:
Behold, God is my saviour: I will deal confidently, and will not fear, because the Lord is my strength and my praise, and he is become my salvation.
For of his own will hath he begotten us by the word of truth, that we might be some beginning of his creatures.
In that day, the root of Jesse, who standeth for an ensign of the people, him the Gentiles shall beseech: and his sepulchre shall be glorious.
Embrace discipline, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and you perish from the just way:
That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus.
LET not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me.
Therefore shall he say: In the Lord are my justices and empire; they shall come to him, and all that resist him shall be confounded.
Who through him are faithful in God, who raised him up from the dead, and hath given him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God.
For which cause I also suffer these things: but I am not ashamed. For I know whom I have believed, and I am certain that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him, against that day.
