Let us have pity on the wicked: but he will not learn justice. In the land of the saints he hath done wicked things: and he shall not see the glory of the Lord.

The Lord trieth the just and the wicked: but he that loveth iniquity hateth his own soul.

God hath given him place for penance: and he abuseth it unto pride. But his eyes are upon his ways.

For they have destroyed the things which thou hast made: but what has the just man done?
