He that shall find me, shall find life, and shall have salvation from the Lord:

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold on her: and he that shall retain her is blessed.

He will keep the salvation of the righteous, and protect them that walk in simplicity.

Now this is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

And I know that his commandment is life everlasting. The things therefore that I speak, even as the Father said unto me, so do I speak.

Riches shall not profit in the day of revenge: but justice shall deliver from death.

For by me shall thy days be multiplied, and years of life shall be added to thee.

Counsel shall keep thee, and prudence shall preserve thee,

Unto the end, destroy not, for David, for an inscription of a title.

Hast not thou made a fence for him, and his house, and all his substance round about: blessed the works of his hands, and his possession hath increased on the earth?

For they are not commanded you in vain, but that every one should live in them: and that doing them you may continue a long time in the land whither you are going over the Jordan to possess it.

Who walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth: hoping for help in the strength of Pharao, and trusting in the shadow of Egypt.

The poor man shall be hateful even to his own neighbour: but the friends of the rich are many.

And I saw that wisdom excelled folly, as much as light differeth from darkness.

It is good that thou shouldst hold up the just, yea and from him withdraw not thy hand: for he that feareth God, neglecteth nothing.

And I said that wisdom is better than strength: how then is the wisdom of the poor man slighted, and his words not heard?

Better is wisdom, than weapons of war: and he that shall offend in one, shall lose many good things.

For laughter they make bread, and wine that the living may feast: and all things obey money.
