Their graven things thou shalt burn with fire. Thou shalt not covet the silver and gold of which they are made: neither shalt thou take to thee any thing thereof, lest thou offend, because it is an abomination to the Lord thy God.

And laying hold of the calf which they had made, he burnt it, and beat it to powder, which he strowed into water, and gave thereof to the children of Israel to drink.

Destroy all the inhabitants of that land. Beat down their pillars, and break in pieces their statues, and waste all their high places,

Thou shalt plant no grove, nor any tree near the altar of the Lord thy God.

And broke the statues, and cut down the groves.

And he shall not look to the altars which his hands made: and he shall not have respect to the things that his fingers wrought, such as groves and temples.

And brought the statue out of Baal's temple, and burnt it,

And they left there their gods; and David commanded that they should be burnt.
