Woe to us: for there was no such great joy yesterday and the day before. Woe to us. Who shall deliver us from the hand of these high gods? These are the gods that struck Egypt with all the plagues in the desert.

And overthrew the wheels of the chariots, and they were carried into the deep. And the Egyptians said: Let us flee from Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against us.

There is none holy as the Lord is: for there is no other beside thee, and there is none strong like our God.

And he hath brought it. And the Lord hath done as he hath said: because you have sinned against the Lord and have not hearkened to his voice, and this word is come upon you.

Who is there among you of all his people? His God be with him. Let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judea, and build the house of the Lord the God of Israel. He is the God that is in Jerusalem.

There is no soothsaying in Jacob, nor divination in Israel. In their times it shall be told to Jacob and to Israel what God hath wrought.

How shall I curse him, whom God hath not cursed? By what means should I detest him, whom the Lord detesteth not?

And his strength shall pass away with dread: and his princes fleeing shall be afraid. The Lord hath said it, whose fire is in Sion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

And Aaron stretched forth his hand upon the waters of Egypt: and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.
