For in those days shall be such tribulations, as were not from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, neither shall be.

For the children of Israel shall sit many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without altar, and without ephod, and without theraphim.

Lamed. The kings of the earth and all the inhabitants of the world would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should enter in by the gates of Jerusalem.

If thou wilt not keep, and fulfil all the words of this law, that are written in this volume, and fear his glorious and terrible name: that is, The Lord thy God.

And he shall bring back on thee all the afflictions of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of: and they shall stick fast to thee.
