And when he is made king, he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor lead back the people into Egypt, being lifted up with the number of his horsemen: especially since the Lord hath commanded you to return no more the same way.

But he hath revolted from him and sent ambassadors to Egypt, that it might give him horses and much people. And shall he that hath done thus prosper or be saved? And shall he escape that hath broken the covenant?

The Lord shall bring thee again with ships into Egypt, by the way whereof he said to thee that thou shouldst see it no more. There shalt thou be set to sale to thy enemies for bondmen and bondwomen: and no man shall buy you.

He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king: because they would not be converted.

For thou shalt give him to be a blessing for ever and ever: thou shalt make him joyful in gladness with thy countenance.

And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of chariot horses, and twelve thousand for the saddle.

Give orders therefore that thy servants cut me down cedar-trees out of Libanus: and let my servants be with thy servants. And I will give thee the hire of thy servants whatsoever thou wilt ask: for thou knowest how there is not among my people a man that has skill to hew wood like to the Sidonians.
