I spoke, and you hearkened not: but resisting the commandment of the Lord, and swelling with pride, you went up into the mountain.

But they being blinded went up to the top of the mountain. But the ark of the testament of the Lord, and Moses departed not from the camp.

You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you also.

But they provoked to wrath and afflicted the spirit of his Holy One: and he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.

And, behold, rising up very early in the morning, they went up to the top of the mountain, and said: We are ready to go up to the place of which the Lord hath spoken. For we have sinned.

But the soul that committeth any thing through pride, whether he be born in the land or a stranger (because he hath been rebellious against the Lord) shall be cut off from among his people.

But he that will be proud, and refuse to obey the commandment of the priest, who ministereth at that time to the Lord thy God, and the decree of the judge: that man shall die, and thou shalt take away the evil from Israel.

And you would not go up, but being incredulous to the word of the Lord our God,
