Be nothing solicitous; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God.

By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints:

Rejoicing in hope. Patient in tribulation. Instant in prayer.

Watch ye, and pray that ye enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh weak.

AND he spoke also a parable to them, that we ought always to pray, and not to faint,

Watch ye, therefore, praying at all times, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are to come, and to stand before the Son of man.

Take ye heed, watch and pray. For ye know not when the time is.

All whatsoever you do in word or in work, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Rooted and built up in him, and confirmed in the faith, as also you have learned, abounding in him in thanksgiving.

Epaphras saluteth you, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, who is always solicitous for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect, and full in all the will of God.

And far from me be this sin against the Lord, that I should cease to pray for you. And I will teach you the good and right way.

And let the peace of Christ rejoice in your hearts, wherein also you are called in one body: and be ye thankful.

As much as is in thee, thou hast made void fear, and hast taken away prayers from before God.

All these were persevering with one mind in prayer with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

And it came to pass, as she multiplied prayers before the Lord, that Heli observed her mouth.
