And now thus shalt thou speak to my servant David: Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I took thee out of the pastures from following the sheep to be ruler over my people Israel.
And when Jesus passed on from hence, he saw a man sitting in the custom house, named Matthew; and he saith to him: Follow me. And he rose up and followed him.

And all that had known him yesterday and the day before, seeing that he was with the prophets, and prophesied, said to each other: What is this that hath happened to the son of Cis? Is Saul also among the prophets?

And Elias departing from thence found Eliseus the son of Saphat, ploughing with twelve yoke of oxen. And he was one of them that were ploughing with twelve yoke of oxen. And when Elias came up to him, he cast his mantle upon him.
