My soul hateth your new moons, and your solemnities: they are become troublesome to me, I am weary of bearing them.

You have wearied the Lord with your words, and you said: Wherein have we wearied him? In that you say: Every one that doth evil, is good in the sight of the Lord, and such please him: or surely where is the God of judgment?

Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast provoked me in all these things: wherefore I also have turned thy ways upon thy head, saith the Lord God, and I have not done according to thy wicked deeds in all thy abominations.

And he said: Hear ye therefore, O house of David: Is it a small thing for you to be grievous to men, that you are grievous to my God also?

I thought we were binding sheaves in the field: and my sheaf arose as it were, end stood, and your sheaves standing about, bowed down before my sheaf.

Their gifts before the Lord: six wagons covered, and twelve oxen. Two princes offered one wagon, and each one an ox: and they offered them before the tabernacle.

Wilt thou trust him that he will render thee the seed, and gather it into thy barnfloor?
