And rising up, he went. And behold a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch, of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge over all her treasures, had come to Jerusalem to adore.

I will say to the north: Give up. And to the south: Keep not back: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the ends of the earth.

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; and with the just let them not be written.

And the queen of Saba, having heard of the fame of Solomon in the name of the Lord, came to try him with hard questions.

By faith he that is called Abraham, obeyed to go out into a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring my words upon this city unto evil and not unto good: and they shall be accomplished in thy sight in that day.

And he was returning, sitting in this chariot, and reading Isaias the prophet.

Nor is it beyond the sea: that thou mayst excuse thyself, and say: Which of us can cross the sea, and bring it unto us: that we may hear, and do that which is commanded?
