But while men were asleep, his enemy came and oversowed cockle among the wheat and went his way.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Neither did we eat any man's bread for nothing, but in labour and in toil we worked night and day, lest we should be chargeable to any of you.

And we beseech you, brethren, rebuke the unquiet, comfort the feeble minded, support the weak, be patient towards all men.

I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as my dearest children.

Now after many years, I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings, and vows.

Then going up, and breaking bread and tasting, and having talked a long time to them, until daylight, so he departed.

And on the first day of the week, when we were assembled to break bread, Paul discoursed with them, being to depart on the morrow: and he continued his speech until midnight.

And seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them: Ye brood of vipers, who hath shewed you to flee from the wrath to come?

But if thou warn the just man, that the just may not sin, and he doth not sin: living he shall live because thou hast warned him, and thou hast delivered thy soul.

For many walk, of whom I have told you often (and now tell you weeping), that they are enemies of the cross of Christ;

Remember you not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
