He therefore who giveth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you; doth he do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of the faith?

Or know you not, that your members are the temple of the Holy Ghost, who is in you, whom you have from God; and you are not your own?

Now this he said of the Spirit which they should receive, who believed in him: for as yet the Spirit was not given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Having heard these things, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

While Peter was yet speaking these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them that heard the word.

And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord,) I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord; neither had the word of the Lord been revealed to him.
