For, with the heart, we believe unto justice; but, with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

And were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

He loveth mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity.

And you shall remember your wicked ways, and your doings that were not good: and your iniquities, and your wicked deeds shall displease you.

That thou mayest remember and be confounded and mayest no more open thy mouth because of thy confusion, when I shall be pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord God.

But yet acknowledge thy iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God: and thou hast scattered thy ways to strangers under every green tree, and hast not heard my voice, saith the Lord.

He that hideth his sins, shall not prosper: but he that shall confess, and forsake them, shall obtain mercy.

Until they confess their iniquities, and the iniquities of their ancestors, whereby they have transgressed me, and walked contrary unto me.

And putting both hands upon his head, let him confess all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their offences and sins. And praying that they may light on his head, he shall turn him out by a man ready for it, into the desert:

And this became known to all the Jews and the Gentiles that dwelt at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

And many of them who had followed curious arts, brought together their books, and burnt them before all; and counting the price of them, they found the money to be fifty thousand pieces of silver.

Confess therefore your sins one to another: and pray one for another, that you may be saved. For the continual prayer of a just man availeth much.
