A man that is a heretic, after the first and second admonition, avoid:

But now I have written to you, not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother, be a fornicator, or covetous, or a server of idols, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner: with such a one, not so much as to eat.

And we charge you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother walking disorderly, and not according to the tradition which they have received of us.

Therefore, he that despiseth these things, despiseth not man, but God, who also hath given his holy Spirit in us.

And have not heard the voice of them that taught me, and have not inclined my ear to masters?

Trusting in thy obedience, I have written to thee: knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

And having in readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be fulfilled.

For to this end also did I write, that I may know the experiment of you, whether you be obedient in all things.

I wrote to you in an epistle, not to keep company with fornicators.

Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them.

She hath not hearkened to the voice, neither hath she received discipline: she hath not trusted in the Lord, she drew not near to her God.

They were confounded, because they committed abomination: yea rather, they were not confounded with confusion and they knew not how to blush. Wherefore they shall fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall fall down, saith the Lord.

And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.

And thou shalt remember that thou wast a servant in Egypt: and thou shalt keep and do the things that are commanded.

Obey your prelates, and be subject to them. For they watch as being to render an account of your souls; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief. For this is not expedient for you.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, (as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence,) with fear and trembling work out your salvation.

And his bowels are more abundantly towards you; remembering the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you have received him.

Therefore the showers were withholden, and there was no lateward rain: thou hadst a harlot's forehead, thou wouldst not blush.

And said: My God, I am confounded and ashamed to lift up my face to thee. For our iniquities are multiplied over our heads; and our sins are grown up even unto heaven,

And the Lord answered him: If her father had spitten upon her face, ought she not to have been ashamed for seven days at least? Let her be separated seven days without the camp, and afterwards she shall be called again.

I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as my dearest children.

And when this epistle shall have been read with you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans: and that you read that which is of the Laodiceans.

The sound word that can not be blamed: that he, who is on the contrary part, may be afraid, having no evil to say of us.

If any man come to you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house nor say to him, God speed you.
