And Berzellai said to the king: How many are the days of the years of my life that I should go up with the king to Jerusalem?
Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow.
This therefore I say, brethren; the time is short; it remaineth, that they also who have wives, be as if they had none;
Shall man that is dead, thinkest thou, live again? All the days in which I am now in warfare, I expect until my change come.
And the king said to Berzellai: Come with me that thou mayest rest secure with me in Jerusalem.
