For all of my father's house were no better than worthy of death before my lord the king; and thou hast set me thy servant among the guests of thy table. What just complaint therefore have I? Or what right to cry any more to the king?

But Miphiboseth dwelt in Jerusalem: because he ate always of the king's table. And he was lame of both feet.

That I should come about with this form of speech, thy servant Joab, commanded this: but thou, my lord, O king, art wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to understand all things upon earth.

But if he shall say to me: Thou pleasest me not: I am ready. Let him do that which is good before him.

And the king said: Where is thy master's son? And Siba answered the king: He remained in Jerusalem, saying: To-day will the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.
