And behold, the whole kindred rising against thy handmaid saith: Deliver him that hath slain his brother, that we may kill him for the life of his brother, whom he slew, and that we may destroy the heir. And they seek to quench my spark which is left, and will leave my husband no name, nor remainder upon the earth.

The kinsman of him that was slain shall kill the murderer: as soon as he apprehendeth him, he shall kill him.

But the husbandmen seeing the son, said among themselves: This is the heir: come, let us kill him, and we shall have his inheritance.

And the ancients of his house came to make him rise from the ground: but he would not, neither did he eat meat with them.

And the first son he shall have of her he shall call by his name: that his name be not abolished out of Israel.

And his indignation cease, and he forget the things thou hast done to him. Afterwards I will send, and bring thee from thence hither. Why shall I be deprived of both my sons in one day?
