In the fifth year of Joram son of Achab king of Israel, and of Josaphat king of Juda, reigned Joram son of Josaphat king of Juda.

So he died according to the word of the Lord which Elias spoke. And Joram his brother reigned in his stead, in the second year of Joram the son of Josaphat king of Juda: because he had no son.

And Joram the son of Achab reigned over Israel in Samaria in the eighteenth year of Josaphat king of Juda. And he reigned twelve years.

Then Ochozias the son of Achab said to Josaphat: Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. And Josaphat would not.

Nevertheless he took not away the high places: for as yet the people offered sacrifices and burnt incense in the high places.

He was five and thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned five and twenty years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother was Azuba the daughter of Salai.

And Josaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with them in the city of David his father. And Joram his son reigned in his stead.

In the twelfth year of Joram son of Achab king of Israel, reigned Ochozias son of Joram king of Juda.

But Josaba the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ochozias, took Joas the son of Ochozias: and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, out of the bedchamber with his nurse: and hid him from the face of Athalia, so that he was not slain.

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ochozias his youngest son king in his place: for the rovers of the Arabians, who had broke in upon the camp, had killed all that were his elder brothers. So Ochozias the son of Joram king of Juda reigned.
