So he died according to the word of the Lord which Elias spoke. And Joram his brother reigned in his stead, in the second year of Joram the son of Josaphat king of Juda: because he had no son.
He was five and thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned five and twenty years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother was Azuba the daughter of Salai.
But Josaba the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ochozias, took Joas the son of Ochozias: and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, out of the bedchamber with his nurse: and hid him from the face of Athalia, so that he was not slain.
And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ochozias his youngest son king in his place: for the rovers of the Arabians, who had broke in upon the camp, had killed all that were his elder brothers. So Ochozias the son of Joram king of Juda reigned.
