And Joram the son of Achab reigned over Israel in Samaria in the eighteenth year of Josaphat king of Juda. And he reigned twelve years.

So he died according to the word of the Lord which Elias spoke. And Joram his brother reigned in his stead, in the second year of Joram the son of Josaphat king of Juda: because he had no son.

In the fifth year of Joram son of Achab king of Israel, and of Josaphat king of Juda, reigned Joram son of Josaphat king of Juda.

And Josaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with them in the city of David his father. And Joram his son reigned in his stead.

So the king of Israel, and the king of Juda, and the king of Edom went: and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey. And there was no water for the army, and for the beasts, that followed them.

And he walked after their counsels. And he went with Joram the son of Achab king of Israel, to fight against Hazael king of Syria, at Ramoth Galaad: and the Syrians wounded Joram.
